OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH: WHAT WE BELIEVE

OUR FAITH

 

We believe that the SCRIPTURES of the Old and New Testaments are the Infallible Inspired Words of the Most High GOD of Israel, given to Divinely Chosen men of GOD to write His Word over 2000 years ago. That the Word of GOD has no mistakes, and GOD has included everything in His Word that He wants us to know, and is necessary for us to know concerning Salvation and our Christian life.

 

We believe that the Scriptures have God for its Author, Salvation for its End, and Truth without any mixture of error for its Matter. That the Scriptures reveal principles by which God will judge us, and therefore, is and shall remain to the end of the world: THE TRUE CENTER OF CHRISTIAN UNION, AND THE SUPREME STANDARD BY WHICH ALL HUMAN CONDUCT, CREED, AND OPINIONS WILL BE TRIED.

 

THE TRINITY:

We believe by Faith that there is ONE, and Only ONE, Living and True GOD: An Infinite, Intelligent Spirit, who is Holy and Righteous, whose name is above ALL names in heaven and on earth. And GOD is the Creator and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth, and all that dwells therein; We believe that in the unity of the Godhead, there are Three Personas: GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, and GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT; equals ONE, in every Divine Perfection, executing distinct but, harmonious offices in the great works of redemption of mankind.

 

THE WAY OF SALVATION FOR MANKIND:

We believe the Scriptures teaches that the Salvation of mankind, is of Grace and by Faith ONLY, through the mediatorial office of the Son of the Living GOD, Jesus Christ Himself, who by appointment of GOD His Father, freely took upon Himself the form of a man, yet who, being GOD, did not consider Himself equal with GOD, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a servant and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross; Who without sin, honored the Divine Law by His personal obedience made full atonement for our sins.

 

We believe that Jesus Christ is in every way qualified to be our suitable, our compassionate, and our ALL-Sufficient Savior. That His finished works on earth, His perfect life, His death on the cross, and His resurrection has potentially provided SALVATION for all of mankind from sins: reconciliation to GOD, and eternal life for the world. And ALL who believe in Jesus Christ, and will call upon His name by Faith will be saved and are assured of SALVATION and saved from eternal damnation through the repentance of sins.

 

GOD’S LAW AND GOSPEL TO THE CHURCH:

We believe that the Laws of God are the Eternal and Unchangeable Rules of God’s Moral Government: That all of mankind is to be subject to the governing authorities established by God, and there is no authority, except from God. And the authorities that do exist, are appointed by God, and they are holy, just, and good and the inability that the Scriptures ascribes to fallen mankind to fulfill its precepts, arises entirely from mankind’s love for sins and disobedience; We believe that the Scriptures are to deliver mankind from his sins, and restore him through a Mediator to godly obedience to the Holy Law, is one Great End of the Gospel, by the Means of Grace connected with the establishment of the visible church.

 

We believe that the visible Church of Jesus Christ, is a congregation of baptized believers, who have been immersed in water just as Jesus Himself was immersed: in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; to show forth in a solemn and beautiful emblem of our faith: in the Crucified, Buried, and Risen Savior, with its effect in our own death to sin, and resurrection to a new life in Jesus Christ; that it is the prerequisite to the privileges of a Church relation, and to the eating of the Lord Supper which is the Communion, in which the Church by the Sacred use of Bread and Wine are to commemorate together the Blood, Body, and Dying Love of our Lord Jesus Christ; always preceded by solemn self-examination and repentance of sins; appointed for the interest and good order of mankind.

 

We believe that Civil Government is of Divine appointment from God. And that magistrates are to be prayed for by the Church; conscientiously honored and obeyed, except only in things that are opposed to the teachings and will of God our Father who is the Only Lord of the conscience, and of the universe, and of the government.

 

We believe that all leaders of the Church and government are to observe the Ordinances of God, and be governed by His laws, and exercise the gifts, rights, and privileges God has invested in them by His word; We believe that there are scriptural offices, qualifications, claims, and duties defined in the Epistles for Church leaders and government leader to obey.

RESPONSIBILITY OF GOD’S CHURCH AND ALL BELIEVERS

We believe that the Church and ALL believers of Jesus Christ, are under Divine Obligation to contend earnestly for the faith, by proclaiming to a lost world that “This is the Acceptable Year of our Lord Jesus Christ”; that we, the Church, as Christian believers are called to fulfill the Great Command that was given to the Church by The Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Church and ALL who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ have been commanded to feed the hungry, house the homeless, clothe the naked, visit the sick and shut-in, and be a light of comfort and encouragement to all who sit in the darkness of despair.

 

We believe that the Church and ALL Christian believers will be held responsible, and are accountable to God, if it does not fulfill the Commission that has been given to, and ordained in the Church, for ALL believers to compel the lost to repent of their sins, and receive the free gift of grace unto salvation offered to them through believing in the name of God's Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

We believe that ALL Christian believers who believe in the Only Begotten Son of the Living God, is the Church, which is the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

 

OUR OBJECTIVES

 

To fulfill the vision God has given to this ministry through the Great Command by expressing God's special compassion and unconditional love toward ALL people.

​

To respond Biblically and Prayerfully with compassion to the emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical human needs of those God directs into our path regardless of race, religious backgrounds, creed or color. Providing those physical things needed for a better quality of life: Food, clothing, shelter, and medical referrals. Spiritual Counseling, emotional and mental support for the elderly, homeless, and the downtrodden. 

​

To become a spiritual teaching and witnessing tool of the Gospel in the community with the mind of the Lord Jesus Christ toward others, teaching sound doctrines that leads to salvation, healing of the broken-hearted, and deliverance from spiritual and physical bondages.

​

To keep Jesus Christ as the center of this ministry works, and His name lifted high above every name in humility, with dignity and integrity for His glory. And to let the world know that the free gift of GRACE UNTO SALVATION is their's for the asking and seeking, as this is...  "THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF OUR LORD."
